Message from General Co-Chairs

Dear Colleagues,

It is our great honor to welcome you all to the 9th International Symposium on Medical ICT (ISMICT) 2015 in Japan. This year, the Symposium will take place in Kamakura, Kanagawa, from 24th to 26th March 2015 at Shonan Village Center.

ISMICT 2015 is a leading international symposium for academic, governmental and industrial researchers to present original research results and share new ideas from all medicine, healthcare and wellness related ICT areas. The well planned program will provide high-quality technical sessions as well as Keynote speeches by world-class prominent researchers.

Kamakura used to be a capital of Japan during the Kamakura era (1185-1333), so there are numerous historic monuments such as Kamakura Daibutsu (a large statue of Buddha). In addition, Kamakura is also famous for the beautiful coast, so it will be an exciting time for you to visit Kamakura.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee for the 9th International Symposium on Medical ICT, we welcome you all to Kamakura and look forward to offer you a “Cool Japan” culture and hospitality.

Message from Technical Program Committee Co-chairs

On behalf of all the members of Technical Program Committee, we are very pleased to welcome you to the 9th International Symposium on Medical ICT (ISMICT2015). This symposium will be held from March 24th to 26th, in Kamakura, another old Capital of Japan.

The Committee has made every efforts to improve the contents of the submission, and finally made up a program consisted of high-quality 53 original papers, including those for 2 special sessions. We will also have two keynote lectures, and two workshops delivered by distinguished speakers.

In the presence of a wide range of topics in Medical ICT, from telecommunication physics to medical applications, numerous reviewers with extensive expertise are recruited to accomplish the difficult review tasks within a limited time frame. We are confident that these efforts have resulted in a very exciting and comprehensive program showing the total picture of the MICT discipline.

We truly expect that all the participants enjoy both scientific discussions and traditional Japanese relaxing atmosphere.
